Drain lining is a fantastic method of repairing or sealing a pipe without the need of costly and inconvenient excavations.
But what happens if your pipe only has a small section damaged, what then?
At Drain Technology our vehicles carry Localised Pipe Repair kits. A simple one man method of repairing a pipe that can be carried
out there and then while on site.
Localised pipe repairs work on the same principle as the re-lining system. You insert a sleeve into the section of damaged pipe
and inflate it to a set pressure while it cures.
Once cured you have a water tight repair that adheres to the existing pipe and can offer a variety of solutions to different problems.
The big difference is that the localised pipe repair system comes in set lengths of 500mm or 1000mm and can be pushed along the
pipe using rods to the specific point of damage.
Pipes Suitable for Localised Repairs
• Clay
• Plastic
• Concrete
• Pitch Fibre
Suitable Applications

• Pipes leaking at specific point or connection.

A localised pipe repair can be done on any pipe diameter up to 1200mm, although our vehicles only have repair kits on them for 100mm and 150mm diameter pipes.
Anything larger would have to be requested prior to our visit.
