Construction & Civil Engineering

As a business, we specialise in the construction industry and this is undoubtedly one of our biggest market sectors.  We work for many large house builders, civil engineering and construction companies.

Site Teams

Site teams always work in pairs and hold CSCS cards, as well as being qualified to undertake the work they are on site to carry out.

Site Logistics

As an experienced construction contractor, we have learnt over time the issues when undertaking our duties on busy, large construction sites. Access, pedestrian and vehicle movement and parking issues are an ongoing battle, plus quite often, water supply. We have developed our fleet and equipment to meet the needs for the construction industry and can offer the following:

  • Low roof vehicles for underground car parks
  • Trailer jets that can be lifted into position by tower cranes
  • Portable camera equipment for ease of access to manholes and rodding points.
  • A 7.5t short wheel base lorry jetter for movability around congested sites
  • 100-150mtr water intake hose reels when no nearby water supply.

Services we offer

  • Drain clearance
  • Drain cleaning
  • Drainage surveys and investigation
  • Confined space works
  • Pipe rehabilitation
  • Obstacle removal – rebar, earth stakes, concrete

Health & Safety

Before carrying out any site project we arrange and issue a site specific method statement and risk assessment for all tasks we undertake.

New Drainage Surveys

Undertaking the cleaning and surveying of new drain systems ready for hand over is a common occurrence on construction sites. Our aim, once we have cleaned newly installed drains and are in the process of surveying them, is to “NEVER MAKE OUR CLIENTS LOOK BAD”. Should we find any faults or defects during the survey process, we will inform the site management team, giving them the chance to rectify or make provisions for repairs. We will then go back re-survey the pipe again.

Drainage Reports

All drainage reports supplied are WRc coded and approved in conjunction with the MSCC5 drainage repair book.
